CUSTOM BLENDING

with out custom blending service.
COMPOST
Compost is the product resulting from
controlled decomposition of organic material such as leaves,
grass clippings, manure and other yard waste. Compost holds
soil particles together enabling the soil to retain moisture
and utilize that moisture more effectively. Compost improves
the coefficient exchange capacity of the soil; which means
that the soil will retain nutrients longer. The compost then
releases the nutrients at a steady, consistent rate, which
reduces the amount of manufactured fertilizer needed. Compost
also provides an excellent source of nitrogen, as well as
other micronutrients that are essential for plant health and
growth. Topsoil when amended with compost provides an excellent
medium for root growth and development.
